In a crucial Week 17 matchup, the New England Patriots secured a 26-13 victory over the Denver Broncos, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season winds down. With both teams vying for a favorable seed, this win was pivotal for New England as they aim to make a deep postseason run. Drake Maye led the way for the Patriots, throwing for 210 yards and a touchdown, demonstrating poise under pressure. Meanwhile, RJ Harvey showcased his skills on the ground for Denver, racking up an impressive 118 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with New England's offensive execution. Hunter Henry was Maye's favorite target, finishing with 75 receiving yards and contributing to the Patriots' balanced attack. Defensively, the Patriots were anchored by Craig Woodson, who registered eight total tackles and an interception, key plays that stifled Denver's momentum. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Woodson's interception shifted the tide, allowing New England to extend their lead and ultimately control the game. Zach Allen's two and a half sacks for the Broncos showcased their defensive effort, but it was New England's resilience that prevailed in the end.
