In an action-packed opener to the 2027 season, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Chicago Bears with a final score of 38-28. Both teams came into the game looking to set a strong tone for the season, but it was the Seahawks who came out on top, showcasing their offensive firepower. Quarterback Jalen Milroe led the charge for Seattle, throwing for three touchdowns and keeping the Bears’ defense on their toes. Tory Horton was a standout receiver, racking up 154 yards and finding the end zone to help propel the Seahawks. On the other side, Caleb Williams threw for 316 yards and managed to keep the game competitive, while Quinshon Judkins impressed with a powerful 140 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Bears' Grady Jarrett made an impact with two sacks, but the Seahawks' ability to convert crucial third downs proved pivotal. Although Jerry Reed snagged an interception for Chicago, it was Seattle's ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities that marked the game's turning point, sealing their victory and starting the season off on a high note.
