Defensively, Miami made key stops when it mattered most, with Chris Johnson leading the team with four total tackles and Antonio Johnson snagging an interception to halt a promising Cowboys drive. The turning point came in the second quarter, when the Dolphins extended their lead to 24 points, forcing Dallas to play catch-up for the rest of the game. DeMarvion Overshown's strong performance for the Cowboys, including 1.5 sacks, wasn't enough to shift the momentum, as Miami's relentless offense kept them firmly in control.
