In a tightly contested matchup, the New England Patriots held off the Los Angeles Chargers with a final score of 27-22. This Week 12 showdown had major playoff implications, as both teams sought to solidify their postseason positions in the competitive AFC landscape. Offensively, Drake Maye led the Patriots with 176 passing yards, while TreVeyon Henderson was a key contributor on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards. Romeo Doubs was the top target for Maye, finishing with 66 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable option in critical moments. The Patriots' balanced attack was instrumental in securing the victory. On the defensive side, Troy Andersen of the Chargers made his presence felt with nine total tackles, but it was the Patriots' ability to keep the Chargers' offense in check that proved decisive. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Patriots' defense stifled a potential game-tying drive, forcing the Chargers to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown. Ultimately, New England's defense rose to the occasion when it mattered most, sealing the victory and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
