In a decisive Week 10 showdown, the Dallas Cowboys topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 38-20, strengthening their position as a playoff contender in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for postseason positioning, the Cowboys delivered a commanding performance at home that will resonate as they approach the final stretch of the regular season. Dak Prescott led the charge for Dallas, throwing for two touchdowns and showcasing his command of the offense. Javonte Williams was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 204 rushing yards, while KaVontae Turpin emerged as Prescott's favorite target with 112 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Brock Purdy put up solid numbers for San Francisco, finishing with 261 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cowboys' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the 49ers struggled to contain the Cowboys’ potent attack, despite Jailin Walker’s efforts, who recorded three total tackles and two sacks. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when Dallas scored back-to-back touchdowns, creating an insurmountable lead that the Niners failed to surmount. Ephesians Prysock’s two interceptions provided some late-game highlights for San Francisco, but ultimately it was not enough to shift the momentum back in their favor.
