In a thrilling matchup, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 26-24 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was Seattle that emerged victorious in a nail-biter at home. Jalen Milroe led the Seahawks' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 265 yards, while Patrick Mahomes contributed with two touchdown passes for Kansas City. The ground game was dominated by Zach Charbonnet, who racked up an impressive 126 rushing yards, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba also made his mark with 128 receiving yards, showcasing the depth of Seattle's offensive arsenal. Defensively, the Seahawks made crucial plays, with DeMarcus Lawrence recording 1.5 sacks to disrupt Mahomes' rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Lawrence's pressure forced a turnover on downs, allowing Seattle to maintain their slim lead and secure the win. Kansas City’s Drue Tranquill was a standout on defense with 13 total tackles, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Seattle's offensive firepower.
