In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the New York Giants topped the Houston Texans 21-7, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Giants showcased their offensive prowess while the Texans struggled to find their rhythm, making this a critical game for both teams as the season approaches the halfway mark. Jaxson Dart led the charge for the Giants, throwing for 208 yards and three touchdowns, connecting effectively with Malik Nabers, who racked up 115 receiving yards. The Giants' offense displayed efficiency and big-play potential, allowing them to build an early lead that they would maintain throughout the game. Defensively, the Giants were dominant, with Deonte Banks making a significant impact by snagging two interceptions, turning the tide in favor of New York. Matt Milano from the Texans provided a glimpse of resistance with two sacks, but it was the Giants' ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers that ultimately defined the game. The turning point came when Banks’ second interception halted a promising Texans drive, allowing the Giants to extend their lead and control the tempo for the remainder of the contest.
