In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-0 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory not only solidifies the Saints' playoff aspirations but also showcases their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Steelers struggling to find answers as they head into the second half of the season. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 156 yards and two touchdowns, effectively distributing the ball to his key playmakers. Chris Olave was a standout in the receiving corps, racking up 104 receiving yards, while Travis Etienne Jr. contributed significantly on the ground with 86 rushing yards. The Saints' offense executed their game plan flawlessly, maintaining control throughout the matchup. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, with Jonas Sanker leading the charge with five total tackles, and Jordan Howden making a critical interception to halt any momentum the Steelers hoped to build. The turning point came early in the second half when Howden's interception set up another touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach for Pittsburgh. With an airtight defense and a dynamic offense, the Saints proved they are a team to be reckoned with this season.
