The Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-20 in a thrilling Week 1 matchup of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the contest eager to set the tone for the new season, but it was the Ravens who ultimately emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience and playmaking ability. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens' offense with a key touchdown pass, while Derrick Henry dominated on the ground, racking up 129 rushing yards. Additionally, rookie sensation Tetairoa McMillan made a significant impact with 115 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Jackson, as the Ravens found success moving the ball against the Colts' defense. On the defensive side, Marlon Humphrey's interception proved to be a crucial moment, stifling a Colts drive and shifting momentum back to Baltimore. Despite a strong performance from Colts linebacker Paulson Adebo, who recorded six tackles, the Colts were unable to contain the Ravens' offense when it mattered most. A late drive by Indianapolis fell short, allowing Baltimore to hold off the Colts and secure their first win of the season.
