In a decisive Week 11 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 31-14, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season approaches its final stretch. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the 49ers showcased their dominance throughout the game, proving too much for the Vikings to handle. Brock Purdy led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 244 yards and a touchdown, while Nick Singleton anchored the ground game with an impressive 93 rushing yards. Rashee Rice was the standout receiver, racking up 72 yards and consistently moving the chains, contributing to a balanced offensive attack that kept the Vikings on their heels. Defensively, the 49ers made pivotal plays that helped seal the victory, with Dre Greenlaw grabbing an interception that shifted momentum firmly in San Francisco's favor. Despite Blake Cashman's nine tackles for the Vikings and Andrew Van Ginkel's sack, the defense struggled to contain the 49ers’ offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Greenlaw's interception led to a quick touchdown drive, effectively putting the game out of reach for Minnesota.
