In a dominating performance, the New Orleans Saints topped the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 48-17 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The Saints showcased their offensive firepower, solidifying their position as a strong contender in the league while the Steelers were left searching for answers to their defensive struggles. New Orleans quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 433 yards and six touchdowns, leading his team with precision. Meanwhile, wide receiver Zavion Thomas was a standout target, racking up an impressive 218 receiving yards, making critical catches that stretched the Steelers' defense thin. Christian McCaffrey of the Steelers managed a respectable 86 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Saints' explosive offense. Defensively, the Saints made their presence felt, with Mike Green recording three sacks and JT Woods intercepting two passes, turning the tide firmly in New Orleans' favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Woods' interception set up another quick score for the Saints, extending their lead and leaving the Steelers scrambling to catch up. Decamerion Richardson led the charge with six total tackles, but the defensive unit as a whole was relentless, ensuring a decisive victory for New Orleans.
