In a commanding performance, the Denver Broncos topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 49-19 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Broncos not only secured their second win of the season but also set a strong tone for their offense moving forward. Matthew Stafford was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive six touchdowns and leading Denver's high-octane offense. Courtland Sutton emerged as his favorite target, racking up 148 receiving yards, while the Jaguars struggled to contain the Broncos' aerial attack. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence showcased his arm talent, passing for 401 yards, but was unable to find the end zone. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, with Jonathon Cooper leading the charge with 3.5 sacks, disrupting Lawrence's rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Denver scored three quick touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach. Despite a solid effort from the Jaguars’ defense, highlighted by Travis Hunter's three interceptions, it was not enough to overcome the Broncos' offensive onslaught.
