The Buffalo Bills topped the Detroit Lions with a final score of 31-17 in a Week 2 clash of the 2026 season. This matchup was critical as both teams aimed to establish momentum early in the season, but it was Buffalo that emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess. Josh Allen led the charge for the Bills, throwing for 253 yards and two touchdowns, effectively directing the offense and finding key targets throughout the game. Jahmyr Gibbs of the Lions put up a strong showing as well, amassing 132 rushing yards and contributing 80 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Buffalo's offensive firepower. On the defensive side, Cole Bishop shone for the Bills, recording two pivotal interceptions that shifted the momentum in favor of Buffalo. Despite the Lions' attempts to rally, the turning point came in the third quarter when Bishop's second interception set up a touchdown drive, putting the Bills firmly in control and allowing them to hold off the Lions for the win.
