In a decisive Week 1 matchup of the 2026 season, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Los Angeles Chargers with a commanding final score of 43-23. With both teams eager to set the tone for the new season, the Cardinals showcased their offensive prowess while the Chargers struggled to keep pace. Jeremiyah Love was the standout performer for Arizona, racking up an impressive 318 rushing yards, while quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw for two touchdowns to lead the scoring. The Chargers’ Justin Herbert managed 179 passing yards, but it was Ladd McConkey's 112 receiving yards that provided some bright spots for Los Angeles in a tough loss. Defensively, the Cardinals made their mark with an impressive three interceptions from Beanie Bishop Jr., turning the tide in key moments of the game. Darius Robinson added to the defensive effort with a sack that helped disrupt Herbert’s rhythm. With the score tied at 14 in the second quarter, Bishop's first interception shifted momentum and set the stage for a dominant Arizona performance, ultimately sealing the victory.
