In a stunning display of offensive firepower, the Dallas Cowboys overwhelmed the Washington Commanders with a final score of 75-25 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The Cowboys sought to establish dominance early, and they certainly delivered, showcasing their high-octane offense against a struggling Commanders defense. Dak Prescott was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 335 yards and four touchdowns, connecting effectively with his top target, CeeDee Lamb, who racked up 192 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Javonte Williams added to the onslaught with 93 rushing yards, contributing significantly to Dallas's offensive juggernaut that kept the Commanders on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Cowboys made their mark as well, with Joey Porter Jr. snagging two crucial interceptions that helped swing momentum in favor of Dallas. While Jalen Thompson led the team with four total tackles, it was Rashan Gary’s relentless pressure that disrupted Washington's offensive flow. The turning point came late in the first half when Porter's second interception halted a potential scoring drive for the Commanders, allowing the Cowboys to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
