In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the New York Jets held off the Green Bay Packers with a final score of 31-24. This victory not only showcased the Jets' resilience but also set the tone early in the season as they look to establish themselves as playoff contenders. Leading the offensive charge for the Packers was Jordan Love, who threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to make plays under pressure. However, it was Breece Hall of the Jets who stole the spotlight with an impressive 168 rushing yards, while Kenyon Sadiq added to the scoring with 118 receiving yards. Together, they helped the Jets maintain a potent offensive rhythm throughout the game. On the defensive side, the Jets' performance was pivotal in securing the win, highlighted by Demario Davis's five tackles and Emmanuel Forbes Jr.'s crucial interception, which shifted momentum in the second half. The Jets' defense managed to stifle the Packers' late-game efforts, and Micah Parsons' 1.5 sacks for Green Bay, while impressive, were not enough to turn the tide. The turning point came when Forbes Jr. intercepted Love, allowing New York to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
