In a decisive Week 4 matchup of the 2027 season, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Kansas City Chiefs with a commanding 34-13 victory. This win not only boosts the Raiders' confidence but also places them firmly in the playoff conversation as they continue to build momentum in the season. Offensively, the Raiders were led by quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who threw for a touchdown while managing the game effectively. Mike Washington Jr. was a standout on the ground, racking up 88 rushing yards and establishing the run game's dominance. For the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes struggled to find his rhythm, finishing with 193 passing yards, while Jeff Caldwell was the bright spot in the receiving corps, accumulating 87 yards. Defensively, the Raiders made their presence known with a strong performance, highlighted by Maxx Crosby's two sacks and Jermod McCoy's interception. The turning point came in the second half when the Raiders' defense stifled a Chiefs drive, forcing a turnover that allowed Las Vegas to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. The Chiefs' inability to respond under pressure proved costly, as they couldn't overcome the Raiders' relentless defensive efforts.
