In a decisive matchup in Week 6 of the 2027 season, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans with a final score of 35-21. The Colts maintained their momentum in the playoff race, while the Texans faced a setback in their quest for postseason contention. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr put on a show, throwing for an impressive 347 yards and leading the offense with precision. Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor contributed significantly on the ground with 78 rushing yards, and Parker Washington was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 154 yards and a touchdown. C.J. Stroud of the Texans kept his team competitive with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Colts' offensive firepower. Defensively, Charvarius Ward Sr was a game-changer for the Colts, recording eight tackles and two crucial interceptions that shifted the momentum in favor of Indianapolis. The turning point came in the third quarter when Ward's second interception set up a touchdown drive that widened the Colts' lead, effectively sealing the game. JT Tuimoloau's sack added to the Texans' struggles, ensuring that the Colts' defense held firm when it mattered most.
