In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 38-34, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial conference standings, this contest proved to be a pivotal moment in the 2027 season. Jalen Milroe was the star of the show for the Giants, throwing for an impressive 321 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his accuracy and poise under pressure. He connected frequently with Theo Johnson, who racked up 87 receiving yards, providing a reliable target throughout the game. Meanwhile, Nick Singleton added a ground game presence with 67 rushing yards, helping to keep the Cowboys' defense on their heels. The Giants' defense played a critical role in securing the victory, highlighted by Brian Burns' two sacks and Jason Sehorn's two interceptions. Sehorn's second pick was particularly crucial, as it halted a late-game drive by the Cowboys and allowed New York to maintain their lead. DeMarvion Overshown of Dallas led the tackling efforts with six total tackles, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Giants' defensive momentum and timely plays.
