In a tightly contested matchup, the Denver Broncos held off the Detroit Lions with a final score of 26-20 in Week 10 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Broncos secured a crucial victory to maintain their position in the race for the postseason. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 342 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his arm strength and precision. Troy Franklin was his top target, racking up an impressive 134 receiving yards, proving to be a game-changer in crucial moments. Meanwhile, the Lions struggled to find offensive rhythm, with Jahmyr Gibbs managing just 49 rushing yards, which limited their scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Broncos made key plays that swung the momentum in their favor. Riley Moss’s interception proved to be a pivotal moment, halting a potential Lions scoring drive and allowing Denver to maintain their lead. On the other side, Aidan Hutchinson's 1.5 sacks kept the pressure on Nix, but ultimately, it was Denver's ability to capitalize on key defensive stands that secured their victory.
