In a thrilling Week 12 matchup, the New England Patriots topped the New York Jets with a final score of 28-23, keeping their playoff hopes alive as the season approaches its final stretch. The victory solidified the Patriots' position in the AFC, while the Jets were left searching for answers as their playoff chances dimmed. Drake Maye showcased his talent under center for the Patriots, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns, leading his team to a crucial win. TreVeyon Henderson added a strong ground game with 90 rushing yards, while A.J. Brown was a standout receiver, racking up 150 yards and making key catches throughout the contest. Defensively, the Jets struggled to contain the Patriots' offensive firepower, with Christian Harris leading the team in tackles but unable to change the tide of the game. The turning point came midway through the fourth quarter when Maye connected with Brown for a 40-yard touchdown, effectively sealing the victory and leaving the Jets unable to fully recover. Despite Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception, the Jets' defense couldn't generate enough pressure or stops to turn the momentum in their favor.
