In a tightly contested matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders held off the Los Angeles Chargers with a final score of 20-13. This Week 12 clash was crucial for both teams as they jockey for position in a competitive playoff race, making the stakes even higher as the season approaches its final stretch. Justin Herbert put up a solid performance for the Chargers, throwing for 252 yards and a touchdown, but it was the Raiders' Mike Washington Jr. who stole the show on the ground, racking up 103 rushing yards. The Raiders also benefited from a balanced attack, with key contributions from their defense, including an interception by Jeremy Chinn. The Raiders' defense played a pivotal role in securing the victory, highlighted by Maxx Crosby's impressive 1.5 sacks and Chinn's timely interception. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Chinn's pick thwarted a potential game-tying drive by the Chargers, allowing Las Vegas to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win.
