The Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings 26-7 in a decisive Week 14 showdown that solidified their playoff aspirations. With both teams vying for crucial positioning in the postseason, the Bears delivered a strong performance to maintain their momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Offensively, the Bears were led by Rome Odunze, who torched the Vikings’ secondary for 110 receiving yards, and D'Andre Swift, who contributed a solid 65 rushing yards. Although Jeff Meredith of the Vikings posted impressive numbers with 229 passing yards and one touchdown, it was not enough to keep pace with Chicago's balanced attack. Defensively, the Bears made their mark with Gervon Dexter Sr. recording two sacks and Kyler Gordon snagging an interception, creating pivotal turnovers that shifted the game's momentum. The turning point came late in the first half when Gordon's interception set up a touchdown drive, extending the Bears’ lead and leaving the Vikings unable to recover. Overall, Chicago's defense stifled Minnesota's offense, ensuring a comfortable victory.
