In a thrilling Week 17 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Dallas Cowboys 35-28, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season approaches its conclusion. With both teams fighting for a crucial win, the stakes were high, but it was the Buccaneers who emerged victorious in a nail-biter. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers' offense with a stellar performance, throwing for 314 yards and contributing to the team's success with key completions. Bucky Irving was a force on the ground, racking up 111 rushing yards, while Bo Melton shined in the receiving game with 141 yards and a touchdown. Dak Prescott kept the Cowboys competitive, tossing three touchdown passes, but it wasn’t enough to clinch the win. Defensively, the Cowboys were led by Caleb Downs, who recorded 14 total tackles and snagged an interception, showcasing his impact. However, it was a late touchdown from Mayfield that turned the tide in favor of Tampa Bay, sealing their victory and leaving Dallas searching for answers as they look to regroup for the playoffs. The defensive efforts from both teams were commendable, but Tampa Bay's ability to capitalize on key moments ultimately decided the game.
