In a dominating performance, the Green Bay Packers topped the Atlanta Falcons 28-0 in Week 3 of the 2026 Madden season. The victory not only secures a strong position for the Packers but also sends a message to the league about their formidable capabilities on both sides of the ball. Leading the charge for Green Bay was running back Josh Jacobs, who racked up an impressive 164 rushing yards, showcasing his ability to control the game on the ground. Quarterback Jordan Love contributed with a modest 72 passing yards but effectively managed the offense, while Christian Watson provided a reliable target with 34 receiving yards. The Packers' offensive unit demonstrated efficiency and balance, leaving the Falcons struggling to respond. Defensively, the Packers shined with Javon Hargrave recording two sacks, disrupting the Falcons' offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came early, as Green Bay's defensive pressure forced Atlanta into a series of three-and-outs, allowing the Packers to build a commanding lead that the Falcons could never recover from. With Jessie Bates III leading the Falcons in tackles and interceptions, his efforts were commendable, but they weren't enough to turn the tide against a well-rounded Packers squad.
