In a tightly contested matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders emerged victorious over the New England Patriots with a final score of 26-20, improving their record to 4-1 in the 2026 season. This win is crucial as the Raiders aim to solidify their playoff positioning early in the year. Kirk Cousins led the Raiders' offense with an impressive 316 passing yards, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively downfield. Jalen Nailor was the standout receiver, racking up 147 yards and proving to be Cousins' favorite target throughout the game. On the other side, Sam Darnold managed to throw for one touchdown, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Raiders' dynamic attack. Defensively, Nakobe Dean was a force for Las Vegas, tallying 12 total tackles and playing a pivotal role in stifling the Patriots' offensive efforts. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Raiders' defense held strong on a crucial drive, forcing the Patriots to settle for a field goal instead of a potential game-winning touchdown. The combination of timely defensive plays and offensive firepower ultimately secured the Raiders' hard-fought victory.
