In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Washington Commanders 34-10 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, the Colts demonstrated their offensive prowess and solidified their standing in the league with this decisive victory. Jonathan Taylor led the charge for Indianapolis on the ground, racking up 89 rushing yards and contributing to the Colts' balanced attack. Meanwhile, Marcus Mariota of the Commanders threw for 193 yards and one touchdown, making him the standout performer for Washington, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Colts' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Colts were bolstered by Charvarius Ward Sr., who intercepted Mariota twice, a critical factor that swung momentum in favor of Indianapolis. The turning point came midway through the second quarter when Ward's first interception set up a quick touchdown, pushing the Colts ahead and forcing Washington to play catch-up. Despite a solid defensive effort from the Commanders, including nine tackles from Alex Singleton and a sack by Dorance Armstrong, they couldn't recover from the Colts' early lead.
