In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-10 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a contender early in the year. The Patriots showcased their offensive prowess, while the Jaguars struggled to find their rhythm against a relentless opponent. Sam Darnold led the charge for New England, throwing for 270 yards and three touchdowns, marking a standout day for the quarterback. TreVeyon Henderson complemented the aerial attack with a strong ground game, racking up 92 rushing yards, while Tre Tucker emerged as a key target, amassing 103 receiving yards. The Patriots' balanced offensive display proved too much for the Jaguars to handle. On the defensive side, Jarrian Jones of the Jaguars was a bright spot, recording 11 total tackles and one sack, but his efforts were not enough to sway the outcome. The turning point came in the second quarter when Darnold connected with Tucker for a touchdown, stretching the lead to 21-3 and putting the Jaguars in a deep hole. The Patriots' defense maintained control throughout, limiting Jacksonville to just 10 points and sealing the victory decisively.
