In a tightly contested matchup, the Cleveland Browns narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 19-14. This Week 3 battle in the 2026 season showcased two teams eager to establish momentum, but it was the Browns who emerged victorious on their home turf. Cleveland's Justin Fields delivered a standout performance, throwing for 307 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating his command of the offense. His favorite target, Xavier Worthy, was sensational, racking up 157 receiving yards and proving to be a key factor in the Browns' aerial attack. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard led the Panthers' ground game with 56 rushing yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with the Browns' scoring. Defensively, the Panthers had a notable performance from Lee Hunter, who tallied seven total tackles, but it was the Browns’ ability to stifle the Panthers at crucial moments that made the difference. Derrick Brown's sack added pressure on Carolina’s offense, but it was a late interception that shifted momentum decisively in favor of Cleveland. As the clock wound down, the Browns' defense held firm, sealing the win and positioning them well early in the season.
