The Chicago Bears held off the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 22-16 in a tightly contested Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to gain momentum early in the year, the Bears secured a crucial victory on their home turf, showcasing their resolve in a pivotal division clash. Kyler Murray led the Vikings' offense with 207 passing yards and a touchdown, connecting well with his top target, Jordan Addison, who racked up 93 receiving yards. Despite a strong aerial attack, the Vikings struggled to keep pace with the Bears' ground game, where D'Andre Swift shined, rushing for 105 yards and consistently moving the chains. Defensively, the Bears made key plays to stifle the Vikings' momentum, with T.J. Edwards leading the team with seven total tackles and Kyler Gordon snagging an interception that proved vital. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Gordon's pick halted a promising Vikings drive, allowing the Bears to maintain their lead and secure the win.
