In a high-stakes Week 17 showdown, the Carolina Panthers topped the Seattle Seahawks with a decisive 45-28 victory, solidifying their playoff positioning. Both teams entered the matchup with playoff implications on the line, but the Panthers emerged victorious in front of a raucous home crowd. Seattle's Jalen Milroe had a standout performance, throwing for 365 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Despite the impressive numbers, the Seahawks' offense struggled to maintain consistency, as they faced a relentless Panthers defense. TreVeyon Henderson led the Carolina ground attack with 81 rushing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba topped the receiving charts for Seattle with 86 yards. Defensively, the Panthers made critical plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Devin Lloyd recorded 1.5 sacks, consistently pressuring Milroe and disrupting the Seahawks' passing game. Bobby Okereke's interception proved to be a turning point, halting a potential Seattle scoring drive and allowing Carolina to capitalize on the ensuing possession, further extending their lead and sealing the win.
