In a thrilling Week 16 showdown, the Arizona Cardinals narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints by a final score of 29-28, solidifying their playoff hopes as the season draws to a close. With both teams fighting for positioning, this matchup proved to be a nail-biter that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Arizona's Carson Beck was the standout on offense, throwing for an impressive 330 yards and leading his team with precision. He found Reggie Virgil for a game-high 135 receiving yards, setting the tone for the Cardinals' aerial attack. On the other side, Tyler Shough showcased his skills with two touchdown passes, while Travis Etienne Jr. contributed significantly on the ground with 82 rushing yards for the Saints. Defensively, the Cardinals had a critical moment when Zaven Collins recorded two sacks, disrupting Shough's rhythm and putting pressure on the Saints' offense. Despite Christen Miller's seven tackles for New Orleans, it was Collins' timely plays that helped swing momentum in favor of Arizona. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a defensive stand by the Cardinals allowed them to hold off a late Saints drive, sealing the victory in a tightly contested affair.
