The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a thrilling 39-31 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in a crucial Week 14 matchup. With playoff implications looming, the Steelers showcased their offensive prowess, led by veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who delivered an impressive performance to keep their postseason hopes alive. Rodgers was in top form, throwing for 343 yards and four touchdowns, while connecting frequently with wide receiver Germie Bernard, who amassed 148 receiving yards. The duo was instrumental in building a significant lead for Pittsburgh, allowing them to withstand a late-game surge from the Jaguars. Jacksonville's Bhayshul Tuten provided a spark on the ground with 58 rushing yards, but it was not enough to match the Steelers' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Steelers made their mark with a dominant performance, highlighted by T.J. Watt's 2.5 sacks and Patrick Queen's nine total tackles. Pittsburgh's defense created crucial stops when it mattered most, including a pivotal interception from DeShon Elliott that shifted momentum in their favor. This game ultimately turned when the Steelers' defense clamped down late, stifling the Jaguars' last-ditch efforts to tie the game.
