In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Rams, finishing the game at 27-22. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the stakes were high, but it was the Raiders who emerged victorious on their home turf. Fernando Mendoza led the way for the Raiders, throwing for 251 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to command the offense. Tre Tucker was his top target, racking up an impressive 140 receiving yards, effectively stretching the field and creating mismatches against the Rams' secondary. Meanwhile, Kyren Williams stood out for Los Angeles, rushing for 116 yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Raiders were bolstered by Joey Bosa, who was a force throughout the game with 9 total tackles and 2.5 sacks, significantly disrupting the Rams' offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Bosa's pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing the Raiders to capitalize and secure the win. Las Vegas' defense proved to be the difference-maker, ultimately sealing the deal in a tightly contested battle.
