In a commanding performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 49-24 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. This victory was crucial for the Panthers as they look to solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Buccaneers struggled to keep pace in the competitive division. Bryce Young was the standout performer for Carolina, showcasing his prowess with 301 passing yards and five touchdown passes, effectively leading the offense throughout the game. Jonathon Brooks added to the offensive fireworks with a powerful showing on the ground, rushing for 119 yards, while Tetairoa McMillan made an impact in the air, racking up 120 receiving yards and finding the end zone. Together, they formed a dynamic trio that overwhelmed the Buccaneers’ defense. Defensively, the Panthers were relentless, with Derrick Brown registering a sack and Bobby Okereke snagging an interception, both pivotal moments that shifted momentum in Carolina's favor. The game turned decisively in the third quarter when Young threw his fifth touchdown pass, extending the lead to an insurmountable margin. Despite Alex Anzalone's 12 tackles for the Buccaneers, the defensive effort fell short, unable to contain the explosive Panthers offense.
