In a pivotal Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season, the New England Patriots topped the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 32-20. This victory keeps the Patriots firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Raiders look to regroup after a tough loss on the road. Drake Maye led the Patriots’ offense with a steady performance, tossing one touchdown pass while managing the game effectively. Rhamondre Stevenson was the workhorse on the ground, contributing 62 rushing yards, while DeAndre Hopkins shone for Las Vegas, racking up 89 receiving yards but unable to find the end zone. Kirk Cousins threw for 243 yards but struggled to connect consistently in critical moments. Defensively, Carlton Davis III was a standout for New England, making eight total tackles and helping to stifle the Raiders' rhythm. The game turned decisively in the Patriots' favor when Robert Spillane intercepted a pass, halting a promising drive from Las Vegas and allowing New England to extend their lead. Nolan Smith Jr. made his presence felt with 1.5 sacks for the Raiders, but it wasn't enough to shift the momentum back in their favor.
