In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Denver Broncos with a final score of 28-14, solidifying their early-season momentum. The Jaguars showcased their offensive prowess, with both teams looking to secure a crucial win in the 2026 season. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 278 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his command of the game. Brenton Strange emerged as a reliable target, racking up 110 receiving yards, while Breece Hall contributed modestly on the ground with 21 rushing yards. The Jaguars' offense proved too much for the Broncos to handle. Defensively, Jacksonville's Antonio Johnson made a significant impact with two interceptions, helping to stifle any potential momentum from Denver. The turning point came in the second quarter when Johnson's second pick set up a touchdown, extending the Jaguars' lead and putting the Broncos on the back foot. Despite Jonathon Cooper's strong performance for Denver, including a sack and two tackles, the Jaguars' defense held firm, sealing the victory.
