In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-24 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the year, but it was the Patriots who emerged victorious, showcasing a balanced attack on both sides of the ball. Drake Maye led the Patriots' offense with a solid 226 passing yards, while TreVeyon Henderson powered the ground game with an impressive 123 rushing yards. A.J. Brown was the standout receiver, racking up 157 yards and adding crucial plays that kept drives alive. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence found the end zone twice through the air for the Jaguars, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with New England. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Robert Spillane leading the way with 10 total tackles. Milton Williams contributed significantly with 1.5 sacks, applying pressure on Lawrence throughout the game. The turning point came in the second half when Carlton Davis III intercepted a pass, halting a Jaguars drive and setting up a critical touchdown that cemented the Patriots' lead and ultimately sealed the win.
