The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a decisive 27-14 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 3 of the 2026 season, showcasing their strength in front of a home crowd. This win positions the Jaguars as a formidable force early in the season, while the Patriots struggle to find their rhythm. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offense with 115 passing yards and a touchdown, effectively managing the game and spreading the ball around. Christian Kirk was his top target, racking up 56 receiving yards, while Kareem Hunt put up a strong performance for the Patriots, rushing for 110 yards but ultimately falling short of the end zone. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays to stifle the Patriots' advances, with Travon Walker recording a crucial sack that disrupted New England's momentum. The turning point of the game came when the Jaguars capitalized on a late turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and effectively seal the deal. With Jahlani Tavai’s interception also highlighting the Patriots' struggles, Jacksonville’s defensive unit proved to be just as pivotal as their offense in securing the win.
