The Arizona Cardinals topped the Seattle Seahawks 37-20 in a crucial Week 17 matchup, securing their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With both teams vying for a better seed, the stakes were high, and the Cardinals delivered a commanding performance to clinch the victory. Rickey Johnson Jr. was the standout for the Cardinals, throwing for two touchdowns while also contributing to the team’s offensive rhythm. Jeremiyah Love added to the ground game with 75 rushing yards, and Nyck Harbor led the receiving corps with 91 yards, showcasing a balanced attack that kept the Seahawks defense on their toes throughout the game. Defensively, the Cardinals were effective in disrupting Seattle's game plan, highlighted by Will Johnson’s interception and Karson Sharar’s sack. The turning point came in the third quarter when Johnson's pick shifted momentum firmly in Arizona's favor, turning a close contest into a decisive win. The Seahawks struggled to recover from that blow, ultimately falling short in their efforts to mount a comeback.
