In a decisive Week 14 matchup, the New England Patriots dominated the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 42-7, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2028 season. The Patriots' offense came out firing, showcasing their potential as they cruised to victory on home turf. Leading the charge was quarterback Drake Maye, who threw for 294 yards and an impressive five touchdowns, proving to be a constant threat throughout the game. Eli Raridon emerged as his favorite target, racking up 103 receiving yards, while Kevin Jennings led the Cardinals on the ground with 55 rushing yards, but it was far from enough to keep pace with New England's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Patriots made their mark with a strong performance, highlighted by Craig Woodson's five total tackles and Milton Williams' sack. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Maye connected on back-to-back touchdown passes, quickly shifting the momentum and leaving the Cardinals unable to recover. Despite Will Johnson's two interceptions for Arizona, New England's relentless pressure and opportunistic defense sealed the deal for a commanding victory.
