In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the New York Giants topped the Chicago Bears with a final score of 28-14, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. The Giants showcased their offensive prowess, while the Bears struggled to keep pace in this crucial late-season contest. Caden Durham led the Giants' rushing attack with a standout performance, racking up 111 yards on the ground and adding to the team's scoring effort. Chicago's Caleb Williams put up respectable numbers, throwing for 181 yards and two touchdowns, with Rome Odunze serving as his primary target with 87 receiving yards. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the Giants' balanced offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Giants made their mark with a formidable performance, led by Cooper DeJean, who recorded seven total tackles. Brian Burns was a game-wrecker for New York, notching 2.5 sacks that disrupted Chicago's offensive rhythm at critical moments. The game's turning point came late in the second quarter when a pivotal interception by Kyler Gordon gave the Bears a glimmer of hope, but the Giants quickly quelled that momentum, ultimately securing the victory.
