The Detroit Lions secured a commanding 45-24 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13 of the 2028 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With this win, the Lions continue to build momentum as they approach the postseason, while the Eagles face critical questions about their performance heading into the final stretch of the season. Lions quarterback Bryce Underwood delivered a stellar performance, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdowns. However, it was running back Jahmyr Gibbs who stole the show, racking up an impressive 135 rushing yards and 168 receiving yards. Gibbs' multifaceted impact on the game was crucial in establishing the Lions' offensive dominance throughout. Defensively, the Lions were relentless, with Jack Campbell leading the charge by not only logging five tackles but also securing two crucial interceptions. This turnover battle proved pivotal, as Campbell's picks shifted the momentum significantly in favor of Detroit. The Eagles struggled to respond, and the Lions’ defense effectively stifled any attempts at a comeback, sealing the game with their strong performance on both sides of the ball.
