In a tightly contested battle, the New England Patriots held off the Las Vegas Raiders, securing a 23-16 victory in Week 11 of the 2028 season. This win marks a critical point for the Patriots as they push for playoff positioning, while the Raiders look to regroup after a tough outing. Offensively, the Patriots were led by TreVeyon Henderson, who showcased his talents with an impressive 119 rushing yards, keeping New England's ground game effective. Quarterback Drake Maye threw for a touchdown, contributing to the team's scoring efforts, while Fernando Mendoza of the Raiders kept pace with 231 passing yards, targeting his favorite receiver, TJ Moore, who recorded 64 receiving yards. Defensively, the Patriots were bolstered by Lukas Van Ness, who applied consistent pressure with two sacks, disrupting the Raiders' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Taron Johnson intercepted Mendoza, sealing the game for New England. The Raiders' defense had standout performances as well, with Nakobe Dean leading with nine total tackles, but it was not enough to overcome the Patriots' timely defensive plays.
