In a commanding performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 48-17, solidifying their position in the competitive AFC South as the 2028 season approaches the midway point. This victory not only showcases the Jaguars’ offensive prowess but also raises questions about the Colts' ability to compete in the playoff race. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for two touchdowns and effectively managing the game. Josh Jacobs added a strong ground game with 75 rushing yards, while the receiving corps was highlighted by Calvin Ridley, who consistently found space to help move the chains. Dylan Raiola of the Colts also had a noteworthy outing, throwing for 305 yards, but the lack of scoring opportunities kept Indianapolis from staying competitive. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt, with Albert Regis registering two sacks and Travis Hunter snagging two interceptions, both pivotal in shifting momentum throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Hunter's first interception set up a quick touchdown drive, allowing Jacksonville to extend their lead and put pressure on the Colts' offense. As the Jaguars continue to build momentum, they leave Indianapolis searching for answers as the season progresses.
