In a tightly contested battle, the Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints 17-14 in Week 7 of the 2028 season. The win keeps the Bengals firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Saints will need to regroup after a hard-fought loss. Cincinnati's offense was spearheaded by quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for 261 yards, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively downfield. Tee Higgins was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 100 yards and providing crucial catches to help sustain drives. Meanwhile, Chase Brown contributed significantly on the ground with 80 rushing yards, playing a key role in maintaining offensive balance. Defensively, the Saints made some noise but ultimately fell short. Jonas Sanker led the charge with eight total tackles, while Christen Miller recorded two sacks, putting pressure on Burrow throughout the game. However, the Bengals' ability to convert on key third downs and their resilience in the second half proved to be the turning point, allowing them to hold off the Saints and secure the victory.
