The Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears 25-19 in a tightly contested Week 7 matchup of the 2028 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, both teams fought hard, but it was the Vikings who ultimately prevailed on their home turf. Vikings quarterback Dante Moore was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 344 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Caleb Douglas also played a crucial role in the victory, racking up 129 receiving yards that helped set the pace for Minnesota's scoring drives. On the other side, Bo Jackson put forth a solid effort for Chicago, contributing 83 rushing yards but ultimately falling short of turning his momentum into points. Defensively, the Vikings were able to apply pressure, with Caleb Banks recording a key sack that disrupted the Bears' rhythm. Despite a resilient effort from Chicago's Devin Bush, who tallied 13 total tackles, the turning point came late in the game when the Vikings' defense held firm, stifling a late Bears drive that could have changed the outcome. Minnesota's ability to capitalize on critical moments secured their victory and solidified their standing as contenders this season.
