The Chicago Bears opened the 2028 season with an emphatic 37-9 victory over the Tennessee Titans. This commanding win not only sets the tone for the Bears' campaign but also raises questions about the Titans' readiness for the challenges ahead this year. Caleb Williams was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 372 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his arm strength and precision. He connected frequently with Luther Burden III, who racked up 183 receiving yards, proving to be a constant threat downfield. Bo Jackson also contributed significantly on the ground, adding 84 rushing yards to support the Bears' high-octane offense. Defensively, the Bears were effective in limiting the Titans' scoring opportunities, with Montez Sweat leading the charge with two sacks. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when the Bears capitalized on a turnover, quickly converting it into a touchdown that gave them a commanding lead. The Titans struggled to respond, as the Bears' defense maintained pressure throughout the game, allowing Chicago to cruise to an easy victory.
