In a dominant display, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Kansas City Chiefs 31-10 in Week 2 of the 2028 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the year, the Jaguars emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive tenacity. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for 282 yards and two touchdowns, effectively controlling the game from the pocket. Bhayshul Tuten contributed significantly on the ground, amassing 111 rushing yards, while the Jaguars' balanced attack kept the Chiefs' defense on their heels. Kansas City's Xavier Worthy managed to shine with 118 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to shift the momentum in his team's favor. Defensively, the Jaguars were relentless, with Caleb Ransaw making a significant impact by recording six total tackles and two key interceptions, effectively stifling the Chiefs' attempts to rally. Omarr Norman-Lott added to the pressure with a sack that disrupted Kansas City's rhythm. The game's turning point came when Ransaw's second interception set up a touchdown drive that extended Jacksonville's lead, cementing their control and ultimately leading to a convincing win.
