In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 26-14, securing their first win of the 2028 season. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to establish early momentum in the campaign, but it was the Seahawks who emerged victorious on the road. Quarterback Jalen Milroe led the charge for Seattle, throwing for 253 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense. Trey Benson contributed a solid ground game with 74 rushing yards, while star receiver Justin Jefferson made his presence felt with 88 receiving yards, helping to keep the chains moving and the Panthers' defense on their heels. On the defensive side, the Seahawks made key plays that shifted the game's momentum. Julian Love's interception was a turning point, snatching away a potential scoring drive from Carolina and allowing Seattle to maintain control. Although Graceson Littleton was a standout for the Panthers with seven tackles and Nic Scourton recorded two sacks, the Seahawks' defense held firm, stifling the Panthers' efforts to mount a comeback in the second half.
